Isn't this sweet friend of mine the cutest mommy-to-be, ever?! Seriously, they don't come any more precious, and she looks so fabulous pregnant it's hardly fair. I was so thrilled to be part of the fun and super creative group of ladies to host a baby shower for Kim and sweet baby Presley, whom we're all waiting not-so-patiently to meet! Here are a few shots from the party last weekend...
{decoupaged letters, made with scrapbook paper and a gorgeous map of Paris}
{attendees could write little words of encouragement, well wishes,
or wisdom and leave them in the suitcase for the parents to be...}
{we created the custom labels in Photoshop to dress up bottles of water}
{my friend Carrie...you know her from her Grumpy Old Man party I featured...came up with perfectly mis-matched cupcake wrappers}
{I loved this idea, where a few of the girls swirled a bit of white paint around the lower half of mason jars, wired them to branch trees and hid little tea lights inside for some sweet mood lighting. So cute!}
It was a beautiful, perfectly shabby shower and I'm so thankful I got to be a small part of it!
On a completely separate note, I want to let you know, kind reader, that posts will not be too regular for the next month or so. I've recently had some medical issues to deal with, we're once again getting our house on the market and are getting ready to move, etc. etc. Not as much time to work on fun projects as I'd like, but I'll post as I can. Hope you're all having a love-filled February!
